Voice and piano recital - Premiere of "Σ' αγαπÏŽ γιατί..."

Athanasia accompanied her sister, soprano Giota Kontou, at a voice and piano recital with music by the Greek National School of Music (early 20th Century).
The recital was held as part of 30chairs, a successful concert series in Athanasia's hometown, Kozani, Greece.
The duo also premiered a new work written especially by Athanasia for the occasion, for voice, piano and track, called "Σ'αγαπÏŽ γιατί..." ("I love you for...").

Nomination for an Ivor Novello Award for Best Large Ensemble Composition

Artistic research doctorate at the mdw

Athanasia is excited to begin her Doctorate studies at the mdw, as an artistic researcher at the Doctor Artium course, with supervisors Clara Iannotta, Johannes Kretz, and Tasos Zembylas.
